Summer job voucher 2021 (kesätyöseteli)

kesätyöseteli
Summer job vouchers are available 25.1-25.1.-28.6.2021, or as long as all 280 vouchers are distributed.

What is a summer job voucher?

The voucher means that the city of Hämeenlinna will pay an employer if he or she gives you a job for at least 3 weeks.

If you are a young person (born 1997 – 2006), you can receive a summer job voucher.

One person can receive one voucher.

Where to look for a job?

You need to look for a job yourself, for example on these websites: www.mol.fi, www.tyonpaikka.fi, www.sarastiarekry.fi

A company or an association with a business ID (Y-tunnus) can be an employer and it can be located wherever in Finland.

Municipality, a family or a private person cannot be an employer.

Salary?

Net salary (take-home pay) must be at least 500 euro.

How to apply for a voucher ?

  • If you are under 24 years old, (born 1997-2007) first find a summer job for yourself. The job must be between 1.5. – 30.8.2021. Then inform the employer that you will get a summer job voucher if you are given the job.
  • Fill in the application form carefully and send it by email (ohjaamo@hameenlinna.fi), or as a test message/WhatsApp message (p. 050 5633 804).
  • Deliver your tax card and the voucher to your employer at the beginning of your job at the latest.
