Pupils return to schools on 14.5.2020
Schools reopen for the period of 14.5. – 30.5.2020 with normal timetable. If there are changes in the timetable, schools will inform families.
Hygiene and safe distance
Pupils should avoid physical contact. Classrooms will be organized with regard for maintaining safe distances.
Proper hygiene must be strictly followed.
Use of school premises and cleaning
Other school premises than pupils’ own classrooms will be used. School premises and yards will be only for school use. Those who drive pupils to schools or pick them up are not allowed to enter the school premises or yards.
Schools will be cleaned more frequently than usually.
Pupils will wash their hands often and especially before meals.
School meals and recesses
Warm meals will be served to pupils. Pupils will eat in their own classrooms after having washed their hands properly. Meal times might be longer than usually and eaten at different times.
Distribution of school meals to homes ended on 6.5.2020.
Recesses will be organized with regard for safe distance and classes will have recesses at different times.
Bigger gatherings, such as spring ceremonies will not be organized.
Pupil must not come to school if he or she has any symptoms of an illness. If a pupil falls ill during a school day, he or she will be sent to other room to wait for a parent.
If in a family, there is anybody in the risk group, family should contact their family doctor. School does not need an opinion from a doctor if a pupil belongs to a risk group.
Absence from school
If a pupil is absent from school, class teacher should be informed about it.
School transport resumes on 14.5.2020. Transport will be organized as it was before. If a child is absent from school and transport is not needed, it should be informed directly to the transport operator.
Morning and afternoon clubs
Morning and afternoon clubs will be reopened in all school units. Information about it will be sent to families.
