The quarantine information is needed in order for the school to be able to arrange remote teaching in accordance with the Basic Education Act. Only those quarantined by the health authority are legally entitled to participate in remote teaching. If the pupil is absent from school for any other reason, the normal procedures will be taken.
The guardian reports the following information to the school:
- pupil’s name
- the start and end date of the quarantine
For the prevention of infections, it is important that everyone takes care of good hand hygiene and safety distances, that no symptomatic person is going to school, and that those with symptoms take a corona test at a low threshold.
