Ask your doctor to examine the cause of a long-term complaint
If you have long-standing health complaints, book an appointment to see a doctor. If you need an interpreter, ask about it when you book the appointment.
Use telephone service to make an appointment at a health center. If you can’t use the telephone service, visit the nearest health center to make an appointment. Ask for more information about appointments and self-care at the health center. If needed, you can visit immigrants’ nurse at the main health center at Viipurintie. If you are a refugee center client, you can visit refugees’ nurse during their office hours. Here are the office hours:
- Immigrants’ nurse is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8.00 – 9.00 and Wednesdays at 14.00 – 15.30. Address: health center at Viipurintie 1-3, 2nd floor, room nr 3.
- Refugees’ reception nurse is available on Wednesdays at 13.00 – 15.00 in Kumppanuustalo, address: Kirjastokatu 1, 2nd floor.
- Refugees’ reception public health nurse is available on Mondays at 13.00 – 15.00, address: Viipurintie 1-3, ground floor, G-wing, room 18.
