Coronavirus vaccinations in Hämeenlinna

Vaccinations against Covid-19 are available to all over 5 years of age.
Vaccination is optional and free of charge.
APPOINTMENTS FOR COVID-19 VACCINATION
You can book for COVID-19 vaccination at Verkatedas in Hämeenlinna or at health care centers in Renko, Lammi, Kalvola or Hauho.

- Choose place, date and time most suitable for you.
- Fill in your personal information: your name, family name, phone number and email address.
- Confirm the booking terms.
- You will receive a text message and an email with booking confirmation. You will find there also a link in case you want to cancel or change your appointment time.
If you book for a 5-11 years-old vaccination, you will have to fill in the consent form. If a child has two guardians (parents), both of them have to sign the vaccination consent.
Take the filled-in and signed consent with you when you go for the vaccination with your child. The consent can be filled in and printed out on the THL website.

VACCINATION PLACES IN HÄMEENLINNA
On the vaccination days, instructors guide the persons arriving for the vaccination to the right place on the parking lot, at the front door and inside. Arrive 5 minutes before your vaccination appointment.
BEFORE AND AFTER VACCINATION
PLEASE NOTE WHEN ARRIVING FOR THE VACCINATION:
- You must be healthy, with no runny nose, cough, fever, sore throat or common cold.
- No more than one accompanying person is allowed.
- It is not allowed to come to the vaccinations during quarantine or while being infected with the coronavirus.
- Bring your ID card (Kela card).
At the door, a hand sanitizer dispenser and face masks are available for your use.
The vaccination is injected into the upper arm, wear clothes that make it easy to expose your shoulder. After the vaccination, you must sit down for a moment before leaving.
There are usually no symptoms AFTER THE VACCINATION, but some may experience fever, headache or a slight pain/itching in the injection spot on the next day.
The booster vaccine is given after 3 months, for which you will receive an appointment at the first vaccination appointment.
